Ryan Howard: WS Game 1

I can't say enough about my boy Ryan Howard. He has been tearing up the MLB since entering a few years back. I mean he was Rookie of the Year, and then followed that season up with an MVP award. This year, although striking out 199 times, hit 48 HRS which lead mlb, and he also led in RBIs.

Now, we all know he can hit, but there are a lot of haters on Ryan when it comes to his web. Not thewebgem.com though. I must praise Ryan for his catch in game 1 of the World Series Wednesday night. He not only had to fight the ugly catwalks which lurk above the diamond at Tropicana Field, but also fight off the "sweet tart" Rays fans.

Not only did Ryan catch that ball which was a huge out, but he also caught the NLCS MVP Cole Hamels...Now that is a webgem ladies and gentlemen.

After two games in Tampa, the 2008 World Series between the PHILLIES and the rays is tied at 1 game a piece.
